Frame - "I can't update the software when setting up my Frameo"

If you experience an issue where you get the message "App not installed" (like on the photo below) when you are trying to update the software while setting up your frame for the first time, here is what you can do.



  • Press "Dismiss" instead of "Install" and move on with the setup of your frame without installing the update.


  • When your frame is successfully set up, your frame will automatically check for the update (This may take some time).
  • When the update is ready to download, a dialog will appear saying that an update is available. This dialog will look like the one you saw when setting up your frame.
  • Press "Install" and wait for the installation to finish.
  • Your frame should now have installed the update and be ready for use.
